*utterly stunned*
Pat Benetar's "All Fired Up"...
is Relena's song. *accusing look at little gray cells* How did I not notice this before?
Em, I am burning this mix to disk and sending it to you, don't think I won't. It's all your fault that I'm finally putting all it together.
1. Dar Williams, "I Had No Right". For Father Maxwell and the massacre.
2. Patty Larkin, "Open Arms (Don't Explain)". This one is for the entire show, really, the pilots especially--from childhood into the war.
3. Emmylou Harris, "The Pearl". For the war as a whole, and Operation Meteor in particular.
4. Pat Benatar, "All Fired Up". Relena's theme song.
5. Pat Benatar, "Love Is A Battlefield". For allies and enemies, because they all believe so strongly and fight, in the end, for what they love.
6. Pat Benatar, "Outlaw Blues". Heero's theme song.
7. Stevie Nicks, "Blue Denim". A song for anyone meeting Heero.
8. Pat Benatar, "We Will Be Invincible". A song for the middle of the war.
9. Pat Benatar, "Shadows Of The Night". A song for allies, during the breaking and reformation of alliances.
10. Emmylou Harris, "Bang The Drum Slowly". For Treize's death, particularly, but all the deaths of the war in general. I tend to see Une, Zechs and Wufei when I listen to this one.
11. Pat Benatar, "We Belong". Reconciliation, afterwards.
12. Pat Benatar, "One Love". Another requiem for Treize, actually, but this one more from the general troops' perspective.
13. Emmylou Harris, "One Big Love". A Duo/Heero/Relena song, for after the war.
14. Dar Williams, "Playing To The Firmament". A song for after it all.

Some day I'm really gonna do an AMV to that first one, and possibly the second one, if I ever find the time. *laughs hysterically* Yeah, riiiiiiight, 'cause I's got PLENTY o' free time. *dhed*
