YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTAAAAAAAAA!!! (Yes, I'm a raving Yuuta fangirl, and I refuse to apologise for it). What a wonderful choice for a new team member, and the perfect solution to Fudoumine's shortage of players issue. And he would fit in SO PERFECTLY at Fudoumine, with that mule-ishly stubborn honourable streak of his. Oh gods, he's exactly right for that team... they'd all like him (and Ann would totally steal him to add to her collection of brothers, *snerks*). Loved his match with Kirihara too, gets to show some of his true talent.

Ah, and Kamio-Ibu pair triumph once again (and Akaya mentally making notes about Shinji was very cool - he's really coming through as a captain). I particularly enjoyed Tachibana and Akaya finally sorting things out. I don't blame Akaya for feeling a bit short-changed after finding out what Tachibana can really do, but on the other hand if there's ANYONE who can truly understand what Akaya went through, it's him.

Loved this part so very, very much.

*pleased* He does fit in wonderfully, and his backstory is one of the things that's been in the bunny patch for a while. Yuuta needs love.

I'm thinking that it's Shinji Akaya will play when it comes to Regionals; something about them just clicks for me, when I think about good matches on the court. Considering that Tachibana has had to restrain Shinji's temper in the past, I think they have a few things in common.
