Momo didn't mind that Ryouma was quiet and obnoxious, and Ryouma didn't mind that Momo was loud and obnoxious. They met in the middle, and it all worked out.

Fi~nally! *cuddles* You can already see the first glimmers of the MomoRyo - just the way they interact, and how they genuinely ~like~ being around one another.

And I can't help but love the Hiyoshi-Kaidou parallel. It's so appropriate, but you wouldn't think of it, unless you looked closer. Oh, and I assume that we will get to find out, sooner or later, what the bet between Inui and Fuji was all about. ^.^

Looking forward to more! (Here's to hoping Ryoma-buchou doesn't drive his players into the nearest mental asylum) ^_^;

*snuggles* They're actually kind of a hard pair to write, because so much of their interaction is so non-verbal. But they're so cute about it, I forgive them.

I *think* the last story of this arc will be a Ryouma-with-his-team story. It promises to be amusing. For us, at least. ^_-
