FMA epic start

Ok, here's the first chapter of the epic that bit me. Linked off site because I'm sick of messing around with code that's scrozzled on one end or the other.

Antagonism is the main warning for this chapter.

Sweet! *purr* Very nice... Does Al think Taisa has a crush on Ed, or Ed a crush on Taisa? *blink* Now you've got me calling him Taisa... though I like Al's cutting across the argument like that. Al's only the stable one in comparison... Ed may be an extreme personality, but Al is too, just not as much. And I think Ed and Al know more than Taisa thinks, though they don't know it consciously... they're *both* geniuses, even if they have trouble recognizing in themselves and each other. I blame that on the fact that all they had to compare themselves is each other, and outside comparison would have shown them how extraordinary they are.

Oh, crushes are not thought of by any of them yet. Al just knows that Mustang-Taisa is baiting his Nii-san, and doesn't like it. Al is still the polite one, but getting out of that armor seems to have done away with a lot of his diffidence.

Heh. Just wait until I promote Roy and it changes to Mustang-Junshou.

Heh, crushes are cute. Yeah, I could see how the armor would increase his diffidence--both he and Ed are very conscious to how people react to them physically, Al had to know that he had to extremely careful with how he physically interacted with people. I love the dynamics between the brothers... one of my favorite things in the canon/fanon.
