I like that Hiruma's compliments to Mamori are sort of extorted from himself - he has to admit them grudgingly, and after a long period of judgement. I also liked how the speculation about his mother is built up to, since I was wondering why alcohol was mentioned specifically, and then it made perfect sense. And it's nice to see speculation about Mummy Hiruma, as most such theories are focused on his dad (personally I suspect his grandmother's Cruella DeVille, and his mother Miranda from The Devil Wears Prada. No srsly).

*wry* There's just something about Hiruma that says "mother issues" to me. Maybe it's just that we never see him blackmail women. Bribe yes; blackmail no, even when he alleges that he's collecting things to do so with. Silly boy.
