Fic post from my archive.

From Old Wood

Yukito notices something a little different about Touya lately, and discusses it with Yue. In a way. Drama, I-3

Yukito did not perceive magic, as his other self did. That this often meant he did not perceive his other self was something he put down as one of life's little ironies.

(Besides the basic CLAMP-logic that angst > plot.)
Which generally works for me, but not with him. :(

This was a good, fun read. I'm looking forward to more.

Lovely as usual. I'm of the school that Touya's magic will eventually return, too.

(My apologies for any incoherency, its been a long day.)

I'm extraordinarily glad I found this fic; This chapter and the ones before it are all wonderful. Thank you for writing them, and I look forward to seeing more of this tale.

Interesting. I've always wondered if Touya's magic would return once Yue/Yukito was (were?) stabilized. Your descriptive powers are amazing here.

Ah, this is great. I like the subtlety of the things that Yuki notices about Touya, the kind of things you wouldn't really register unless you spent a lot of time with said other person.

Yuki's communication with Yue is also very interesting-- I've never seen it done in precisely that way before, and I really like it. Although it's fortunate that Yukito is observant and posessed of a great deal of patience, because that's gotta be a difficulty in figuring out what Yue's saying/thinking/feeling.

I would very much look forward to further conversations if you decided to write them, I most certainly would. ;-D

Does that mean there will be more? Oh, happy day! I hope they cooperate, indeed I do. Well, the bribe of Touya ought to be sufficient for anyone, so.

I WIN AGAIN! ::very pleased::

And don't you hate it when that happens? ::wry:: You get the beginning, or you get some of the in-between, or you get the end . . . and then the muse departs and leaves you high and dry and you have to muddle through the rest as best you can . . .

But I will very much look forward to more stories, yesyes, and hope they will be coming soon.

I agree, Clamp's logic is one of the things I love in Clamp, but I really wish Touya could see his mother and sense the people or danger around him. He needs more love dammit!
