Yuna's US voice is absolutely atrocious. I mean really, really appalling. She makes Yuna sound like an airhead, which she most certainly is not.

She also has a severe case of Shatner Syndrome and mistimes her lines constantly with these bizarre pauses, in an attempt to synch the lips. In light of this, I have a new motto for US voice actors:

THE LINES, NOT THE LIPS!

None of this, of course, stops me from downloading either the English language fmvs, which are the highest quality I can find, for X. Or from downloading a play-through of X-2, also in English, may the little demons of chaos have mercy. I'm just going to be wincing every time Yuna opens her mouth.

...it...didn't stop me from luffing Yuna =_= (Or my DAD, AHAHAHA.) Her and that fluffy jock, boy oh boy. Ah, this is making me want to play FFX-2 again.

You should have heard the Italian edition of Legend of Dragoon.. I still shudder at the thought (maybe it's a lucky thing after all that here games almost always keep the American voices). I agree about Yuna's voice and US voice actors, though I must admit that they did a wonderful job with Devil May Cry 3.

The voice acting is better in X-2. And the game is so much fun. I mean, so very, very much fun. <3 Paine.

Yuna and Riku are rather ... gleefully ditzy only in the way that very intelligent women who are finally free of their responsibilities can be ditzy. It's cute and I love that game.
