Side-story to the Challenge arc. Fuji finally plays a serious match against Tezuka. Drama With Porn, I-4

Shuusuke was terrified.

All right, perhaps that was a bit strong, but it had been a very long time since he'd felt this kind of tension. Even longer since he'd had butterflies in his stomach and shaking hands over a tennis match.

Quantum bubble or not, it's just good to see Fuji taking his place with Tezuka and the rest of the tenipuri tennis gods. Purr.

Also, Yuuta could stand to get a little sense knocked into him... but it goes a long way toward explaining why Fuji plays the way he does.

*snugglepurr* Thank you, love.

*nods* It did occur to me that the whole affair with Yuuta would help explain why Fuji holds back like that, in face of all the people trying to draw him out. I don't really like what happens to his motivations, otherwise.

I think some version of this will have had to have happened at about this time, in the Challenge-verse, but that verse is really turning into the lets-see-how-many-people-I-can-get-Tezuka-in-bed-with verse. ^_^; If this thread decides to extend itself, it may become non-quantum. We'll see.
