Remote Work Problems

Today's remote work problem: doing screencaps for a how-to walkthrough (Kaltura Capture in the event) and suddenly realizing that I just captured one of my "emergency soothing ZYL images" off to the side and now need to crop it out.
The Tunnelbear icon, I'm deliberately leaving in as a sort of easter egg for the technical staff who may be directing faculty to this webpage. We have to take our amusement where we can, especially with 150 hold-out faculty to turf out of the buildings by midnight as per Michigan's new stay-at-home order.
...shame we're not quite desperate enough for laughs for me to leave the image in, really.

Date: 2020-03-24 05:56 pm (UTC)It's /way/ lower budget than Untamed, so be prepared for some "wait, really?" special effect moments, but the two leads just have such wonderful chemistry I didn't mind it. Plus, you know, just pretend it's the 70's again and you won't notice a thing. *considers* Maybe the 80's.
The "my science is pastede on, yay" is the part that had me rolling my eyes. The transition from supernatural into scientific setting was... not the smoothest. There are logic holes you could drive a truck through. The timey-wimey bits made me, personally, headdesk a bit. But there's just so much energy and momentum to the story itself, and the tension of love and suspicion and evasion between Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan.
So, really, my best advice is to not expect too much on the bells and whistles, but rather enjoy the acting itself, and the story they build.
