And oh my god, how much do I love the Jean/Nino domesticity? That's the greatest thing about ACCA, you know, that it's not subtle in the slightest about how Jean and Nino are 110% married and raising Jean's little sister together. I mean, that's basically the plot here, with a sprinkling of maybe-political-intrigue just to keep the tone. And yet it's so beautiful and understated. It's how they sit on the same side of the booth and smile at each other and always know exactly what the other one is thinking.
Also, the closing credit images include one of Jean in shirtsleeves, firelit and looking gently disheveled, smiling over his shoulder. And the next image is Nino, firelit and asleep on the couch. I may have squealed out loud.
