Resolution

Sanada and Kirihara address the unproductive aspects of their interpersonal relationship, pursuant to one of Yanagi's observations in "Water Over Fire". Porn With Insights, I-4

Genichirou tried to take the opinions of his hormones with a grain of salt. Akaya was impulsive, considerably moreso than any other member of the team. Giving his impulses free rein was a large part of what had brought them to their current, slightly uncomfortable, position. It behooved Genichirou to at least make sure his younger teammate thought twice. Even once might do.

Umm, wow. Hot smut, even though it's not a pairing I've given much thought to (although I love pairing anyone in Rikkai with anyone else in Rikkai, this just isn't one I've sat there and drooled over >>). I loved the way you described how Akaya was thinking about Sanada's legs. That was like...yum. And then when he was naked...and then Sanada was touching him...double yum. I think I just like picturing Akaya naked. Pale skin and curly hair and big green eyes...ohhh...little pony drool puddle. I will stop now...

mmmm {stretches} a nice warm cuddly bath...followed by romping sex and...

{sputtering laughter} yeah, yeah, kiri-elf, we *all* have eyes. {shoulders shaking} really enjoyed that line... almost as much as the image/sensation of Sanada's hands just running all over akaya's body... yeah... Sanada has those type of hands, doesn't he? Not that anyone's hands can't feel good, it's just... with Sanada... all that strength and power....and the roughed pads and... {shivers} yeah. I'm going to bed now.

Kirihara doing the seduction act makes so much sense. Sanada following up with it fits his character perfectly.

Even though I liked (and I really, really liked) this, I can't say I hadn't feel a little jealousy for Yukimura and Yanagi. I understood what Sanada said, but...oh, God, I'm always fearing sex-relationship because in fanfics they have the tendency to turn into something more.

But this story (as all the previous that I hadn't give any reviews but I read)was very good and interesting, and, more important, plausible. Let me read the other ones (because I really didn't have any time this week).

And, you know, I'm actually not sure just where all this will wind up. The thing about the SanaKiri that's making it workable so far is that they've just added sex to an existing relationship without significantly changing the relationship. This Kirihara is developing a substantial streak of practicality to go with his impishness. I'll be interested to hear what you think of how the dynamics are working out in later stories.
