From the public minutes, from November’s election up to the June 2 meeting:
Out of 20 meetings, board members were absent for:
10 Francesca Coppa (50% absentee)
8 Naomi Novik (40% absentee)
7 Ira Gladkova (35% absentee)
4 Julia Beck (20% absentee)
4 Jenny Scott-Thompson (20% absentee)
1 Nikisha Sanders (5% absentee)

Well, that and this. No shit, that entry hit my droll, I was like.... hoooooooly shiiiiiiit. I refrained from saying that in a comment to the entry, but I thought about it.
The organisation seems to be so fundamentally broken. It's not even just bad people (although there's definitely bad leadership at work) but just... a profoundly badly put together organisational structure.

And, yeah, when even the people involved /don't know/ how many committees there are, or what they're for, and the freaking Secretary and President don't feel empowered to do an audit... then there's a serious problem.

I want to like AO3, I really do... I like it in theory, I mostly like it in practice, I very much enjoy having it there, and they do good rescue work. But man, they're screwed up on the organization side. Don't vote on a name, vote on actual deeds!
