Sasuke gave up on logic, as he so often had to around Naruto and just shook him. "Shut up and listen to me," he said, low and deadly. "I am not letting you run yourself right into ambush. Understand? Not by those bastards and not because you were too unbelievably bullheaded to Stay. With. Your team!" Three more hard shakes punctuated that, and Naruto finally blinked at Sasuke like he knew who was in front of him.

Another great chapter! I love the inter-team bonding at the beginning, and the reasonable explanation of why their cohort is definitely not the norm, and Sasuke telling Naruto not to run off without backup, and Naruto healing. Also, where you chose to end the chapter is definitely evil. ^_^

*hearts* There are two more of those, too. One's even /worse/. There are times you just get to that Perfect Line and say "oh /yeah/".

Their cohort is /so/ not normal! I mean, you look at most of who's at the chuunin exam, and they're lots older! I figure Naruto's as good an explanation as any.
