I agree! And yeah, your samurai theory makes tons of sense. Unless I'm mistaken, the samurai parallels are actually mentioned in one of Konomi's interviews, but I'm not 100% sure; in any case, yes, it works very well for me. And... oh man, don't get me started on yips. There are so many things I hate about this concept. I'm not even a huge Yukimura fan (although I find him interesting), but it bugs me so much.
