But this was, this was so twisty, yet so straightforward. Urk, I'm trying to put my thoughts into words, and all I can think about is the ending. Not the Mizuki putting his foot in it (though quite amusing, but Fuji baiting is never healthy), it is the realisation that Yuuta's life is good, and not fully controlled by the two because the two obsessive/possessive freaks keep each other in check.
It is the realisation that Yuuta, teh Fuji that he is, and the wonderful boy that he is, is manipulating everything in his favour. Not saying that he's involved with Mizuki only for the counterbalance to Fuji, but rather he's manipulating everyone WITHOUT lying to his own feelings.
And that, that my friend is admirable.
And Mizuki, oh gods Mizuki, the snake truly cares for Yuuta. No matter how that caring (dare I say love?) comes with ten pages of disclaimer and footnotes. Ulterior motives abound, yes, yet EVERYONE is truhtful to themselves without betraying each other. I LOVE!
I can't wait to see what you will be coming up with next.
And Yuuta writing to Fuji about Mizuki and him was just PRICELESS, yet so in character. I SQUEE!
