Just watched the first episode of Furi Kuri. I now propose a new genre classification. IFU (pronounced, perhaps, aye-foo).

Incredibly Fucking Weird

Think of The Yellow Submarine on serious speed, and you may begin to approach the weirdness. Or The End of Evangelion after a few hits of laughing gas. It's Gainax, after all.

In fact, some psychoactive substance may be in order before further viewing. Nyquil, maybe.

Haven't seen Dragon Half, but Excel definitely. The kind of show where you just sit there wide-eyed and giggling at the feeling of the show bending your brain.

I'm taking a nice break with Tokyo Underground before permanent damage occurs.

I have Dragon Half, they only made two episodes, so we can watch the entire thing. LOL Ashe loves it, so he grabbed the dvd when it came out. I watch it mostly for sentimentality...Ashe met me online, and to get me to meet him, he promised me anime. LOL We watched Hyper Police, New Dominion Tank Police, and Dragon half. ANd he thought he was never going to see me again after the Hyper Police incident, which si funnier told in person. LOL

No, I have that free. Tentatively the weekend after I have a baby shower if it hasn't falled through, but I'm free the third. Do you want me to save it til I hear back from you then? *excited*

I have to admit, if you're ok with the drive that would be nice. We're doing the New Year season up in Ann Arbor with family and friends, which is a bit of a hike.

But if your car is acting up or anything, just let me know, and I can come up, it wouldn't be too much trouble, really!
