Crossover: Tennis Sanctuary: whole arc

Once upon a time there was a fanfic author who thought she would never write crack.

Boy was she wrong.

One day, one of her fic writing friends, amused by the author's muse-babble posts, wrote a crossover drabble involving Prince of Tennis and Angel Sanctuary. The author, also amused, wrote a short in answer. Before long a third fic writing friend decided to pitch in, too.

I swear, it all made sense at the time.

The result of

lysapadin and

ladycrysiana and I egging each other on is Tennis Sanctuary, otherwise known as The Crack Crossover of Doom. It ranges from humor to drama to angst to romance, with a bit of smut tucked in here and there, and also involves Good Omens, Yami no Matsuei, and the CLAMP universe.

And we're not sorry for a single thing.

I'd first like to note that I love everything about this Crossover. (and yes it deserved to be capitalised)

It's nice to find all of the cracktastic crossover ficbits in the same place. Easier than trying to find all the right backposts from lysapadin. Love the Rikkai portion, but then again, Emily-san's AS fics are convincing me that checking the local manga shops and Kinokuniya branches for Angel Sanctuary is a good idea... Rather like the way Yukimura seems to have gotten Hatter's loyalties? If that's the right word to use?

Rikkai-love is a wonderful thing; good to hear we're spreading it!

Would like a copy of scanlations very much, yes. Kinda saves on my already huge bill whenever I enter a bookshop... or manga shop....

And yes, Emily-san's Rikkai fics converted me into a Rikkai fangirl long before I even saw the relevant chapters or anime episodes.

As for Hatter-san.. I thought se didn't practice denial of that sort? Not calling love what it is doesn't change it.

Forgot to mention earlier, addendum to my comment on Hatter-san. It's already kindof obvious, what se feels. Others have already commented on it. Even Michael's already commented on it, if that's the right context to take his comment on Hatter-san having two masters.

Right, just drop me your address at ravenwood.1 at osu.edu, and I'll burn off the disk and pop it in the mail to you. There are twenty volumes, and I think the commercial release is only up to five or so, so this should keep you from dying of suspense, too. ^_^

*ponders* With Hatter, I think it comes down more to self-worth issues than self-deception. Se doesn't really believe se's worthy of love.

Erk. Might be kinda hard to, seeing as I'm pretty sure we live in different countries... am not sure you have a reasonably cheap way to mail such a thing to Singapore... Though, if they're scanlations, do you still have them in data storage somewhere? My email inbox is large enough to take large attachments.

Yukimura better be working on that. Hatter rather needs some self-worth reinforcement.

If the volumes weren't too big to mail all at once, I might try that, but none of my accounts will let files that size out. *makes face* It's no problem, though, really; I just sent a disk of AS to Norway, after all. One disk is small enough for air mail.

Is it possible to mail the volumes one by one or in parts? If that would not incovenience you? My inbox is mostly clear at the moment, so mailing in chunks or otherwise is fine. Or if you have a program which can zip-up the files or otherwise compress them, would that help as well?

I wouldn't mind how I got the volumes, though mail is touchy. I'm kinda hesitant about giving my address out over the 'Net, and well, I'm still living with my parents and studying, and I'm not sure how they would react to a mysterious mail from overseas addressed to me.

I entirely understand; parents can be a pain, can't they? I used to get razzed about music shippments from independent studios, because the names were so flaky. Unfortunately, there isn't any easy way to repackage the files for email. But if you don't feel comfortable handing out your home address to a stranger, I really do understand.

I am most sorry to say that I don't use IRC either. Have no idea how to even start using it. Um. About the address thing, I'm reasonably certain that you're trustworthy, I'm just uncomfortable with the idea. How long does it take on average for airmail to reach the recipient?

Well, the rates page says five to seven days, but I've seen it take two weeks. For this far away, I'd guess on a week or a little more.

Will pass you my address sometime tonight or tomorrow S'pore time, I suppose. WIll just have to find an excuse to pull letterbox clearing instead of my brother at the appropriate time. details will be provided in the e-mail.

Picked up 1st volume of AS in Kino yesterday. Seems delightfully twisted. Though, considering that I think the current publisher just took over from the previous company which apparently went bust a while back, I can probably safely say that short of fan scanlations I won't see anything further than volume 3.
