Death to 1and1, all hail Squeaky
Apr. 16th, 2008 02:15 pmRight, then, we're back up!
Everyone who's getting 404s, just hit reload. If that doesn't work, clear you cache and hit it again. Your browser is probably looking at the old IP address.
Man, is it just me or are the web-hosting companies going to complete shit? Anything short of serious enterprise-level e-commerce accounts with dedicated servers has gone downhill like they started from the top of a cliff in the last year or two. HostMonster has lost my databases more than once. (And not deleted them--they were found in about 20 minutes, and HM doesn't do daily or even weekly backups, so /somehow/ they actually /lost/ them.) *sighs* It's enough to make me look longingly at things like Amazon's S3 network, though as an individual I doubt I can afford it.
