I feel like there's something I should poke at with Madam Jin trying to separate WWX and Janli. How much of it is just to protect ZiXuan's interests and how much is related to her conversations with Madam Yu.
Episode 26 - resentful spirit dynamic. What always strikes me if that WWX is scary as dick while using the resentful spirits, but it's when he does that pulling them back inside himself thing to stop from going too far - that's when he looks physically pained by it.
