Excellent framing

First, because I feel like if Rana hasn't seen this particular compilation of the riverside park photo shoot, she really should: Zhu Yilong, trees, water, etc.. Possibly also This one, which got the shadows of the trees on the water.

I'm really very fond of how this photographer finds just the right frame everywhere they go.

On the other hand, the one in here with the March title, the one with the flower... that is the face of a model who is trying really hard not to laugh.

The forest/park shoot was so nice. The colours!

The contrast of the leaves and the water are really lovely. It totally works with the black suit.

...I just walked into the wall and I wasn't even STANDING UP. No. No, I had not seen either of those, and they are amazing. I love that shoot. Such liminal spaces suit him so well, and not only is the framing of those photos excellent, but the final line-up was chosen with an eye for the way the shadows fall to emphasize his bone structure in the close-ups, and to make him the focal point of the composition in the distance shots.

The other photoshoot looks flat, in comparison. He's darling, there's good light, but there's not that extra spark. Honestly, it kind of feels like a waste of him.

Honestly, I think his studio photographer has a much better grasp on how to make the most of ZYL than most of his commercial shoots do.
