And, I mean, on the one hand, if I just up and showed the character totally losing his mind over the sight of fresh wood planks under the inner gate of his home, the /entire fandom/ would know exactly why without me saying another word. (I love this show.) But on the other, my craftsmanship rebels. So, interstitial story it is. *pours herself another sangria*
