Yukimura apologizes to the teams his own injured, and picks up a challenge on the way. Drama, I-3

Seiichi's eyes narrowed. He had come here to render an apology, but he'd be damned before he stood still to be a source of entertainment for Fuji Shuusuke.

Your Yukimura is the best portrayal I've seen. He's strong enough to hold the team together, yet there's a beauty to him which makes him seem.... gentle.

I love where this arc seems to be heading. I really can't praise this enough.

One question, concrit. Do you use a spellcheck?

If Fuji had implied that Seiichi's team was undisciplined and ill-trained, Seiichi had just come within two breaths of calling Fuji a coward.

[giggles] And the race to see who can cut the deepest whilst being polite is on!

Seriously, though, I like where this is going, for Fuji. (This is a separate arc from the Fuji/Tachibana arc, yes? The way Fuji's caught fire here would seem to indicate a wholly different direction than the direction he's going with Tachibana...)

And Ryouma is such an adorable snark here, I don't really like him but here I do! But Yukimura still rocks.

Wahaha~! Oishi is SO CUTE. I noticed this right away, for some odd reason. He's my favorite Seigaku because he's so cute and tries so hard. ~____~ Well, and Fooji and Eiji too. XDD

your Yukimura is so intense, I'm getting a bit intimidated XD;;; uwah Fuji and Yuki head to head *_* though I would really love to see them get along in the future. they have so much "girlfriend" potential in common! :D;;;

You have no idea how happy I am. I'm practically humming with glee. This is just wonderful. Yukimura, oh Yukimura, silk over steel, and so much more. Manipulative, strong, and a damn wonderful human being. The way the captains know, and acknowledge each other. There's obviously pride and so much respect.

Tachibana's respect and surprise Yukimura's apology in context, is believable. The joy and pride he has for his own team shines through so damn well. Ann's over-protectiveness (hell, the whole team's over-protectiveness) of Tachibana is ADORABLE!

Yukimura and Fuji's interaction is perfect. A study in opposite (yet similarity) if there ever was one. Except well Fuji is cruel, Yukimura is ruthless. No, not exactly right, I'm not saying it right. Fuji is the type that will toy with an opponent, dragging it out before the kill, Yukimura will kill you. the end. Arghh, still nto getting it right *bangs head on table*

Ryouma is so Ryouma that I cry in tears of joy. The confident, the sheer thrill of playing for the sake of playing. I, it's beautiful. And Yukiumra's realisaiton of Renji lecturing him about playing full out *laughs* They know each other so well.

And the polite, yet determined challenge to Tezuka. See, Yukimura SHINE! Yes, see him kick arse.

I really cannot wait for the next part. I LOVE YOU! Truffles? Coffee? Some sort of exotic plant? *offers praise*

Oh, sugoi! I can't wait to see what more poors out from this story line!

Of course, I'm fond of An and was thrilled to see her in this, and the entire Seigaku meeting was just fantastic--I could gush for hours, quite literally (while going off on serveral tangents, I'm sure)and still not quite convey how wonderful the interactions of everyone were:

Tezuka and Yukimura
Yukimura and Fuji
Fuji and Tezuka
Oishi, period
Echizen, period
Yukimura & his two boy toys... in bed... (although why they are in bed together could have been explained a little bit better, 'cause, frankly, leaving that sort of deduction up to *my* mind is a rather risque adventure)

I didn't mean to re-read this particular fic... honest... I was just... browsing, resetting my memories and... well... I started reading and couldn't stop, and fell in love all over again, and DAMN! And excellent! It's all just excellent. Fell over laughing when Yukimura came to himself and noticed Inui gathering doubtlessly iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii data. XD
