Ah, found it! I read this on your website, and couldn't find it in the Memory-list that originally pointed me to your fic. Hence direct stalking of this LJ, so's I could leave a comment. Because--

--this is one of the most breathtakingly intimate, yet non-smutty fics I've ever read, regardless of fandom. They way you use the water here, to enhance the level of comfort between the three and visualise how they click back together again like a jigsaw puzzle, washing away the hurt and the guilt, renewing their relationship in a way; it's pure beauty. I misted up by the time they went from the shower to the bath, and by the end I needed to dry my eyes.

This is actually based on an experience of my own, when a friend was going through something very difficult. It was such an incredible thing, and I wasn't at all sure I'd managed to transfer the feeling to this story. Sounds like it worked, though. *beams*

Oh God, did it ever! It had real emotional impact, without ever getting anywhere near shouting distance of cheap. And now I'm misting over again... <:)
