Cute animal pics?

I would very much like to host a Cute Animal Pictures thread, because this has been the kind of week when you wonder if maybe we should kill all the humans and just start over with cockroaches, and that would work better. (If you read the Washington Post and remember the most horrifying university news this week? That's my university. I met that man at university parties.)

So, I'll go first.

A shy foster cat who isn't quite ready to come out of hiding... but still wants to play!

Awwww! Those are all adorable.

*grins* Though the ball in the bowl reminds me of the diet we had my older cat on, which moved her to go catch a bird and bring it inside to eat very pointedly beside her dish.
