*wry* A whole lot of the pre-modern options have their own problems, yeah. None of them are exactly easy on the system, that I've seen. Most of them are toxic to one degree or another. (Not that modern contraception has a whole huge lot of room to boast on that front.)
*makes a face* Naruto has women ninjas, and they kick butt, and this is wonderful. But the author also has a really bad habit of undercutting his women characters. They're never /as/ good as the boys. It's frustrating as all get-out, especially since these characters start out with so much potential. So, maybe read with a grain of salt.
