Tsuna stepped out of the car and tugged his jacket straight. He still wasn't used to the suit.

*glees over seeing this one again*

Tsuna really is very good at his job of wrangling... everyone.

Kusakabe just sighed and pulled the rest of Hibari’s luggage out of the trunk.
Oh, poor man. It occurs to me that as head Hibari-wrangler, he technically has one of the most important jobs in Vongola. It’s hilarious how everyone else has taken the task of Hibari-wrangling to heart as well.

Hibari glanced around with only mild interest, though he paused and looked twice at Maria before turning to Xanxus.
It’s nice when fic gives you what canon won’t. Hurray for Maria.

Maybe he’d have lunch with Gokudera, for his daily dose of sane-person.
Ha! There’s a huge amount of “relatively speaking” in that sentence. XD

“Sawada, what…?” Xanxus broke off as Tsuna knelt down at his feet, lifted his hand, and brushed his lips over Xanxus’ knuckles.
I like this so much because while it’s clearly a subordinate act, it makes clear how equal Tsuna and Xanxus really are.

Lal’s voice didn’t drift so much as march.
That’s so very much her. Lovely contrast between this line and Basil’s.

the way he hadn’t quite had the nerve to yet, to Lal.
Still no-good! ♥ I like the balance you have in Tsuna’s character here. He’s tough enough and he’s got used to being a big player, but he’s still growing into everything. There are a lot of little touches like that which makes this a satisfying fic – neat little character asides that make the whole thing fit together.
