"I didn't do that with any special skill or talent," he said, flatly. "I could do it because I've been working my ass off, according to a training schedule Mizuki-san made." He paused to let that sink in, and to catch his breath. "Now. Do you want to be able to do that?"

You know, I almost never read fanfic - let alone Mizuki fanfic, because he's my favorite and I'm really awfully picky about how he's written - but this is wonderful. Your characterization of both Mizuki and Yuuta is great - this brightened up my morning quite a bit. ♥

(On a side note, it always seems a little strange to me that Mizuki and Yuuta don't get more attention in fandom, flipsides of the same coin that they are. Go figure.)

*very pleased* Thank you! *wry* Lo these three years ago, when I first wrote Mizuki and Yuuta, I more or less did it because I was annoyed at the fanon developing around them. Old habits die hard, so it's great to hear you think Mizuki is on target here. ^_^
