The first anyone really knew of something going on was at the end of practice a few days later when Atobe answered his cell phone and suddenly had the gleam in his eye that meant someone was going to regret his existence very soon.

This have made my day. The bits and pieces of team dynamics between the Hyotei members make me a very happy fangirl.

Shishido is such a guy, and Ohtori is strong but so in lurrrve (who wouldn't) with the former. Gakuto and Oshitari are sooo doing it *snigger*, though you better hope the sex is good, I mean why else put up with Gakuto (the boy, for lack of a better word is a bitch). And Hiyoshi is such a cutie *screeches* He's so young, not in the immature way, but in the quiet, even innocent way. Sorta. But there's just a peace and almost sulky feeling (even if he isn't technically sulky)about him that makes you want to squish the boy. How cute *squish* ^_^

And finally, Atobe and Tezuka....

Even separated by the length of a court, Atobe and Tezuka were in constant contact while they played, just as much as if they had been running their hands over each other and the paragraph before it.

*drools* Total agreement with Hiyoshi. Sex with either of them would be an amazing experience *drools* Though sex between the two is much better.

Which brings me to the next point. OMFG! The MATCH! The MATCH! The MATCH! It's like sex in public, except not actually having sex. Oh gods, I could feel teeh intensity. The way the two cut off all else except each other. The concentration, the intensity, the connection. Yes, I can! *fans self*

I have to admit, the epilogue with Tezuka taking Atobe's hands and gently rubbing the tendons.... oh my goodness, call me the goo on the floor. There's just something real hot about angry Tezuka gently rubbing Atobe.... *floats*

*coughs* Yes, and it was wonderful that you wrote the match from an outsiders' POV. I'm a sucker for a fics told from the POV of someone not directly invovled in the relationship depicted in the story. I haev this theory it is all to do with my voyeuristic tendencies *cough*

But getting back on track. I finally figured out why I adore your Atobe so, it is the fact that you show him being competent, and oh so manipulative when it comes to his team. And no matter what Hiyoshi thinks Atobe does care for the team, if not the particular individuals. Yet, you still manages to show him being vain (because let's face it, Atobe likes being the center of attention). And, not being a girl. You won't believe the amount of fics out there that just cna't seem to balance Atobe the Conceited Vain Twit with Atobe the Really Awesome Cool Talented Tennis Player and Leader.

Okay, now I shall stop fangirling, and go on me merry way. But I expect SMUT soon! Yes, I do. *feeds Emily a truck load of chocolate truffles*

*nodnod* That's exactly what I was going for with Atobe. Given what we see I really am convinced that his spoiled-asshole act is exactly that. An act. The way he makes the sparkling and the vanity into a ritual... he's one manipulative bastard.

No wonder I like him.
