I'd like to take a moment to post about something very nice that has (almost) nothing to do with C-19.

That thing is eshakti.com, and specifically the Tie Waist Empire Cotton Knit dress. I just got my order, today, and I have to say OH MY GOD, IT'S AMAZING. I got it in teal, and the color is beautiful. The fit is perfect. My boobs look incredible, and that's with just my normal bra, and the neckline is a miracle of apparently-plunging-yet-not-showing-my-bra-or-flashing-anyone-at-all, even when I bend over.

AND IT HAS POCKETS.

Plus, as a small bonus, they sent me two well-made and prettily color-coordinated face masks for free! Best sun-dress ever. I immediately went and ordered another in loden green, which was on sale.

I feel better, after twirling around in front of the mirror a few times, even if the faculty are collectively losing their minds and descending on my instructional designers in a frothing horde.

YES. That particular style is literally the only one of their knits that I like (somehow, the wrap style keeps the seams from digging welts into my skin the way the rest do), and the neckline is truly a miracle. I keep a sharp eye on their non-poplin cotton weaves, because I’ve had excellent luck with twills and chambrays. (Has yours attracted cat fur yet? Because my teal dress doesn’t, but every single other EShakti cotton knit or poplin I’ve gotten is a fuzz magnet.)

It is the best style; I love the ties. I did get one skirt in poplin from them and it's /definitely/ a fuzz magnet. On the other hand, I've been looking for a skirt in that dark red /forever/, and flat weave will go with my boots way better than knit, so I guess I'll just have to invest in a few more sticky-tape rollers. The navy blue knit is, so far, /not/ being a cat magnet, so I think I lucked out there, too.

Exciting! Multiple dresses/skirts with pockets is awesome. I don’t have anything in navy knit, so it’s good to hear that’s relatively resistant, too. (Ah, dear poplin. Maintenance is a pain, but it’s nicely light for summer.)
