Untamed: bringing the "ow"
Okay, I made it to ep 29 of The Untamed without too much more than a wince, and then 29 proceeded to a) kill me with the adorable and b) shatter my heart into tiny little pieces.
I mean, damn, that was some NiF levels of calculated cruelty to the viewer, there.
The pacing still suffers from drawing out every emotional moment about three times longer than it really needs to be, but this episode's one-two punch of "cute!" and then "ow, ow, ow" was very well executed.

You're almost at the crisis point and the jump back to the present day, and after that come all my favourite moments. :D
I'm glad you're watching.

And thank god, because I could /really/ do with some adorable duckling time to counteract thirty five episodes of Doom March to Tragedy. Which is simultaneously more and less tragic than the novel version. I'm still waffling on whether or not I approve.

The present day episodes are my favourites, hands down. When the flashback episodes ended in early episode 33, I stopped and re-watched episodes one and two, and then jumped back to 33 again and continued forward.
