Meme time! It's been a while.

1. Favorite Character: Ciel. I love how clear-eyed he is going into the whole thing, and yet how truly broken he still manages to be.
2. Another favorite: Sebastian! (Though serious!Maylene is a close second.) I love how delighted he is by this quirky human of his.
3. Favorite relationship: Sebastian and Ciel, no question, especially after the last issue! I love their genuine partnership and how well they understand each other while still playing games with each other.
4. Thing that hooked me: Probably the very first issue of the manga, when the Novel Of Manners appearances ran headfirst into the Dark Underbelly work they do. The contrast was delightful.
5. Favorite moment: The moment when Ciel takes Snake into his household. There were shoujo bubbles, all the while Ciel had been the one responsible for Snake's fellows dying, and yet it wasn't a lie. Loved it.
6. Song that reminds me: None, really, for this one. Possibly I haven't written enough of it, which is usually where my song associations lock in hard.
7. Awesome thing: It's still going!
8. Random thought: The benefits of having fans of the two anime going at it hammer and tongs: no one bugs the manga fans.
9. Recc: Have a crossdressing Ciel who is not blushing! That one gets played for jokes so much, I really like the art that takes him for what he is, someone who would totally do it an not blink if it was necessary.
