*thoughtful* Good question. I have a bit of a squick for it myself in most cases; in this case it was acceptable levels for me. It may be borderline for you; consider skipping the school-festival episode (which adds nothing at all to the plot or even the character development). Alma is a good, well-meaning, serious guy. He just has trouble interacting with people; this gets better as the show goes on.
