Just as a minor addition, Caldina from Magic Knight Rayearth was an adult woman who ended up happily in a relationship with Lafarge. I just had to mention this since I used to be a massive fangirl for her. She's a pretty minor character, though.

But wow. I knew Clamp was bad about putting adult women in their stuff without destroying them, but I hadn't realized they were quite that bad about it.
