*hearts* Utena rocks the world. There's the overt story, and then there's the story told only in the symbolism, and it's like the overt story is somehow yet another metaphor of the underlying story, and it's absolutely fascinating. It's well worth watching the movie and reading both manga versions, too, because they're all different tellings.
